Unique Broads Experience – Spark of Light Classic Boat Launches into Day Hire Market

Take a step back in time for the day by hiring ‘Spark of Light,’ Herbert Woods’ original wooden motor cruiser built by himself to explore the magical waterways of the Norfolk Broads.

Built  in 1927, Spark of Light captures the old-time cruising fashion of idyllic motor boating in that era, now in-built with all the mod-cons you would expect to find in its modern fleet of boats.

Back in the fold of Herbert Woods, (bought back by the owners in 2011), Spark of Light has been refurbished, ready for day hire –  a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion and discover the magic of The Broads on a classic wooden boat.

You can charter the heritage day boat and sit back and relax whilst the skipper navigates the tranquil waters of the Rivers Thurne, Ant and Bure.

Spark of Light has a fully equipped kitchen and toilet facilities onboard so you can comfortably spend the day afloat.

Bring a picnic or let Herbert Woods prepare one ready for your arrival where you can choose from a selection of sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Alternatively, stop and enjoy a meal at one of the pretty riverside villages along the way.

Herbert Woods offer a Concierge Service to help to plan your special trip, it will recommend an itinerary, make restaurant reservations or arrange a celebration.

Private day hire with a skipper for up to six people is £300.00 from Potter Heigham, 10am returning by 4pm.

To book visit www.herbertwoods.co.uk or call 0800 144 4472.
