Enjoy a winter or early spring break on the Norfolk Broads

Get away from the crowds and enjoy a winter or early spring break cruising through the beautiful Norfolk Broads.

This National Park offers mile after mile of lock free navigable inland rivers and shallow lakes that make up the Broads. They are also home to some of the rarest plants and animals in the UK.

Out of season you will think you are in your own private waterworld, offering peace and tranquillity, as you can explore them at your leisure.

There is an abundance of wildlife to see and plenty of enticing villages to explore such as Potter Heigham, Horning and Coltishall all with shops and cosy pubs.

Perhaps the most famous landmarks of the Norfolk Broads are the numerous windmills, once used for drainage with some recently restored.

Of course the Broads is well known as an angler’s haven, especially during the winter, offering many different species of fish and a challenge to any fisherman!

You won’t have about the weather as Herbert Woods offers a range of boats, such as the Sovereign Light, which have been specifically designed for cooler times and have warm air heating along with a host of other features.

These include bow and stern thrusters, en-suite cabins with LCD TV/DVDs, free satellite channels and a premium sound system.
