Xmas Fayres & Markets
The Great Yarmouth Christmas Fayre is a festive three-day event starting on Friday the 21st of November until Sunday, 23rd of November.
The Fayre will be in the historic St. Nicholas Minster and the surrounding Market Place, the fayre features a variety of stalls offering handmade gifts, festive decorations, locally made food and refreshments.
There will be live entertainment such as music and carol singing, alongside a range festive treats and drinks available to purchase. This event is free to attend, and it is perfect enjoying the holiday atmosphere whilst supporting local businesses.
Hippodrome Circus Spectacular
The Hippodrome Christmas Spectacular in Great Yarmouth is a renowned festive event that embraces the spirit of Christmas. This show is held at the Hippodrome Circus.
This year’s show features international circus acts, aerial performances and acrobatics, this is all done and set against a festive backdrop. Visitors can expect thrilling performances and comedy segments as well as spectacular special effects, making it the spot for families and visitors of all ages.

Traditional Family Pantomime & Theatre
Jack and the Beanstalk – The Traditional Family Pantomime will take place at the Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston from 4th December 2025 until 4th January 2026.
This production brings the classic tail of Jack and the Beanstalk to life, featuring Jack, Dame Trot, Silly Billy and a whole host of larger-than-life characters as they climb a giant beanstalk to face a greedy giant. Packed with comedy, songs , sparkle and plenty of audience participation, it’s a fun-filled panto adventure perfect for the whole family.
Tickets range from £13.50 for a Child ticket to £17.50 for an adult ticket but there is also the availability to purchase a family ticket for the price of £55.

Snow White at St. George’s in Great Yarmouth is also a show to watch out for! This show is available from 13th to 31st of December 2024.

Adult Pantomime, Theatre & Comedy
Jack’s Big Stalk, is showing at the Gorleston Pavillion Theatre, is a hilarious adult pantomime that is strictly for the ages of 18+. Starting on the 6th of December and carrying on until the 21st of December 2025.

Family Xmas Party events
The Children’s Christmas Party at Great Yarmouth Racecourse will be held Sunday 14th December 2025. This festive afternoon event invites children to enjoy dancing, games and surprises, with appearances from favourite characters like the Grinch and Olaf.

Great Yarmouth Racecourse are hosting an unforgettable night of holiday fun on the 13th of December 2025.
