Our Top Tips for a Successful couples Boating Trip
Take it slow – The Broads are all about gentle cruising. Plan shorter journeys each day and enjoy the scenery rather than rushing from place to place.
Dress for for comfort over style – Practical footwear and layers make cruising and exploring far more enjoyable.
Check bridge heights and tide information – Particularly important if your planned route includes bridges like Wroxham bridge.
Use the maps and guides provided – They are great for planning routes, moorings and points of interest.
Plan your route – While it is lovely to stay flexible, having a rough plan helps you make the most of your time on the water. Consider cruising distances, mooring options, and any places that you want to visit in particular.
Make sure to look after your cruiser – whilst you are staying on board, make sure to take care of your cruiser. So do things like topping up your water tanks, check engine oil levels, top up engine coolant when necessary and more.
